Site Style

Although this website has been designed for displaying in the most widely used browser setting of 1024 x 768 it will resize for smaller browsers without the need of horizontal scrolling.

Color and larger text

You are able to customize your browsing experience on this site by choosing one of the sites color theme and text size options below;

The Default Style uses a deep blue font color on a light silver background for the main content of the site to ensure a high enough contrast between them as recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium.

In addition we have a "High Contrast Large Text" style that uses a dark background with large light colored text. This allows the text to stand out above the darker background.

We have also insured that all the text can be resized to suit your specific viewing needs. Visit our "Resize Text" page for tips to accomplish this with your browser or operating system.

Skip Links

We have included "Skip Links" on each page in the form of a link at the top left hand side of the page.

Skip Links are particularly useful for those using text readers so that when they arrive on a page they don't have to sit through the navigation menu being read to them every time. Clicking this link will take them directly to either the page's main content bypassing the navigation or to the navigation bypassing the content depending on which link they choose.

Keyboard Users

Anyone who prefers to use their keyboard to navigate their way around a website rather than their mouse will find that this site has been built with that in mind. All links are highlighted when they are "tabbed to". Those using newer browsers will see highlighted form fields when they tab to a particular field.

Access Keys

Due to their tendency to interfere with the normal operation of an individuals keyboard settings we have elected to not use Access Keys on the site.

Printer friendly

Throughout the website, every page is printer friendly.

Simply use the Print function of your browser to print whichever page you like. The Print function is usually located under the File menu of your browser window. When a web page is printed, it will only print the title of the page, the location of the page, our logo and the main content.
